Back to black!!

As you know, I am building up (again) a small collection of Sasha dolls, but this time I wanted more of a quirky look to my Sasha Crew... I have had various black dolls before throughout the years, but find that I get fed up with them easily, but then I had an idea...and the wonderful Janet Myhill Dabbs helped me put it into action....
I wanted a black Wobbler but I wanted one with longer hair.....so after giving Janet my brief...she did the rest and here is Marmite ( you'll either love her or you'll hate her...)

Not content with just a black wobbler, I bought a Cora and got Janet to update her look for me.......so here is Marlow with her brother Oreo he hasn't had his hair done.....but you never know..

  1. What a great quirky group you have there! It would be better if the light was behind you and not them then we'd be able to SEE their faces better ;)

I'm sure I'd like that baby , great names as usual , if I could see the face and hair! Send them here and I'll take their photos... oops maybe not since I broke the camera.. :) xx

  3. I WAS wondering just WHO had ordered Marlow when I saw her on Janet's Facebook page. I fell in love with her on first sight and would have snapped her up if she had been for sale and I hadn't started on this massive 2017 downsizing project.

Like you have had several Calebs, Coras along with the cute little black babies over the years but, apart from one little black tot with her slightly longer, uncurled hair, they have usually left here after a while as I found them rather difficult to outfit and photograph.
I shall really look forward to seeing this delightful little family being featured in future posts.

  4. Thanks K! I am very pleased with Marlow and Marmite and very grateful to Janet who did a fantastic job on both! I am looking forward soon to a new arrival and am desperately saving to bring him home...I think you know who I mean!!

  5. What a cute little threesome Ronny, and I like their names. I also have a little doll called Oreo, so named because her company name is Cookie!
I have only had the one Cora and I found her very difficult to photograph so she went to live with my friend in the US. However, I do believe that there is a Caleb on his way to me, along with a Gregor, from another friend in the US. She wanted me to have them as she has too many!!! I hope I'll like them.
I look forward to seeing more photos of this little family and the rest of your crew!

  6. Thanks S! You know if your house is too crowded with dolls, you can always send Kara (and any other of your chihuahuas to live with us!)

  7. Marlow is just fabulous and so is your wobbler Marmite. Oreo should prepare himself for a possible future redo of his hairstyle. A very special family! :) xxx
