Have your cake and eat it!

It was my daughter's birthday yesterday. The toddlers  (all dressed in denim by Ginny)were fascinated by her birthday cake....and before you ask no, I didn't make it....but the nice people at Waitrose did......

Little Spencer wouldn't get off the cake until we gave him some....hope he isn't following in the footsteps of his cousin LUCAS who now lives with Auntie Dee in the village....
 Want some?

  1. That's a very cleverly done cake. It's a wonder any of it made it to the people, what with all those hungry looking children surrounding it! I can't blame Spencer for eating a piece - it does look delicious!

Hi Dee....You know how much I love the toddlers...sad to hear Lucas is a good boy now I was hoping he was still bad like he was when he lived here..hoping I can train Spencer to become a rascal!! Many thanks for the birthday wishes for Merrick...isn't one of your girls born on the 20th as well? 3. Cake tastes so much better when you smear it all over yourself! Do your kids know how to have fun, or what?!?

    1. Sadly Steve, I have no control over them...and that also includes the ones that keep arriving from nowhere even though I try to resist adding to their numbers!

    2. Don't believe her Steve, as if, like me, you were one of her previous past blog followers you'll already know that she encourages them to be mean, naughty and a bully.

  4. I DON'T belive it! I checked on your blog early yesterday morning and nothing had been added after Fritz's wonderful day out at Goodwood's post. Check in here just now, as per usual, and 'low and behold' I have missed wishing Merrick a very happy birthday ON THE day!
(Have got it mentally taped now as it's two days after Chon's birthday and on our longest daylight day!) So belated happy birthday wishes Merrick. Hope that you had a super day celebrating.

OH gosh! We have TODDLERS GALLORE again! My, my! What a quiet horse you've been. I had absolutely NO idea that these SIX, as well as Ross and Fritz, have been slowly but surely moving into your home.

I'm presuming that these other five have names too like Little Spencer.
(Am now desperatly trying to remember the names of your last Toddlers...Little Shelly (who now lives with Diane at Sasha Meadow) Lucas/Lukey (who is with Dee at the Sasha Village...though we are led to believe is now totally reformed) Lonely (who was adopted by Rosie Laird to take on one of her knitting modelling roles) and Connor, Lukey's BETTER half twin, (who moved in with Jenni in Wales.)
Don't know where Tantum and your Little Ollie ended up living. (Can't just remember if you had an Eric as well...though seem to think so?

So, I now see that Lucas has been replaced with Little Spencer, his twin Connor with the re-rooted red haired girl, Little Shelly and Tantum with these two new Esthers and Lonely with this sweet Iona. So that leaves this Elke seen above to replace your old Ollie.

Great to have YOU back in the Sasha World and look forward to viewing your amazing future posts as I and my Sasha Brood bow out gracefully.

    1. I just knew that, that phrase 'quiet horse' wasn't quite right but now I have just remembered that it should have been, 'DARK horse!' It's as 'quiet as a mouse!'
      Another senior moment I guess!

  5. Mmm! I am never quite sure - are these Gotz toddlers and your Gotz Fritzspecial cases, or have you relented in your stern anti-Gotz views, Ronny?!
That cake looks fabulous and it is only fair to share with the younger family members. However, I hope that Spencer isn't doing as my baby grandson does - sucking on his food and then trying to force feed you the soggy bits bits....

  6. WOW how did that happen!!! Not the cake but the Toddlers!!! So many all in one place ;) I hope history won't be repeating itself though!
I hope your daughter had a lovely birthday and enjoyed her cake....that is if there was anything left of it after this lot got the hands on it!
