A little blue....

Continuing our series of  'How to bore the pants off of you' Pip (1968 single fringe )  and toddler Mayhem have offered to show you a little bit of my blue themed Bridgewater pottery.
My favourite is the British Isles design... I have shed loads of this design.. I just adore it! Another fav is the Love design teapot very simple but it contains, I think, one of the nicest words in the universe...Love. Wonderful thing to be loved and even nicer to give love back :)

  1. I am now a big Bridgewater fan! I have really enjoyed seeing parts of your collection and can see why you would have shed loads of it. The love tea pot is my favorite too. ❤️ xxx

    1. Thanks Steve! Pip was an ebay purchase, one Sunday afternoon I was bored, strayed on to ebay and ending up paying alot more than I intended to (haven't we all done that - spent too much and then spend the next few hours kicking yourself and panicking when you see your bank balance)...my picture of her doesn't show how lovely she really is, so I am very glad she has become a part of my team vinyl crew :)

  3. What an impressive EB pottery collection you must have with this so far...and which I'm now gathering, is just the tip of the iceberg.
How long have you been collecting her pottery and how often do you buy it or are you given it as presents etc.
I too like the island design the best...probably with living on an island.
Pip does look beautiful with her lovely long and wavy hair. Did she arrive with it like this or has she had some recent TLC from you.
I'm noticing that she isn't sporting the navy blue denim like the rest of the gang. Is there a reason for this?
I'm thinking that I had better be quickly brushing up on my Emma Bridgewater pottery knowledge!

  4. I have loads of the stuff, I have been collecting on and off for a number of years. I use EB crockery and cutlery daily so enjoy it as well as collect it, I have metal racking in my garage stuffed full of boxes of EB I kid you not :) Pip arrived like this I haven't touched her at all ...not even washed her hair...she is perfect in my eyes as she is I adore red heads :) She is wearing white jeans from Ginny as I think she didn't have any dark denim fabric to hand...not sure I think they suit her as she looks too grown up!! More boring EB posts to come ..you will be an Bridgewater expert in no time!
